The White Flint Steering Committee
The White Flint Steering Committee was an informal advisory group established in December 2008 by the Montgomery County, Maryland, Planning Board. The Steering Committee was an outgrowth of the White Flint Advisory Group, a much larger body which served for two years during the Planning Board's development of the White Flint Sector Plan, a growth and development strategy for White Flint. More information is available here and here. The Planning Board has a section on its main White Flint Planning page devoted to material presented to the Steering Committee. The White Flint Steering Committee completed its work in the spring of 2009.
NOTE: Friends of White Flint is not connected to the Steering Committee. Friends of White Flint is an independent non-profit organization, and is not affiliated with the Montgomery County Planning Board or the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission.
